Well I like the name fine, but my thoughts is that it should be, instead of 'World of Starcraft', 'Starcraft Universe'! it makes more sense to me because, hopefully, we won't be confined to one, most likely very large, world but to the many worlds that span the Koprulu sector!

I like 'Starcraft Universe' better too. It just rolls off the tongue better than World of Starcraft.

We might have to change the name entirely. Activision just shut down my youtube video for copyright infringement and the story is being pulled from all the websites.

Let us know if you get slapped with that cease and desist. I subscribed to your youtube account to follow any details, but let us know what happens. Maybe you can just change the name and have it work out.

If I recall, there was a RPG map for Warcraft 3 that was literally called World of Warcraft, and it never got slapped with the order. Activision seems to be overreacting.

Any word from Blizzard? You never broke any copyright rules concerning the map. It's strictly non profit, they haven't even done the premium map things yet.

Just saw the trailer someone else had it up, gotta say some awesome work there Ryan. Here's to prayin' for your map

Starcraft will most likely have to be removed from the name entirely.

I don't think Blizzard actually has Starcraft under lockdown, because if I recall there is a line of boats using the Starcraft name, and they were around before Blizzard.

Edit: Nevermind, it's Starcraft Marine

What does paradigm mean? Isn't it where your thoughts change, so it could explain the change from RTS game to RPG third person?

i can totally agree that starcraft universe would be a much more better tittle..

starcraft is not tied to any one single world, the name world of starcraf just comes naturaly from the idea/example of what they did with warcraft, bliz.. haaz made TUNZ fo moo moo mooo moooooolahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

and they will continue to make MUCHO MAS !!!

i say.. which ever name that you give it, or they give it.. ppl will buy it at one point or another!!!.. and pluz!! bliz can do make sure they keep on ringin in da $$ w/ a sub to the most kik ass game ever!!!

There are many mods out there using "Starcraft" as one of there titles, then again its not gonna be huge like this..

Maybe indicate this is a free mod, and your not planning to let people pay for this mod..
