Kind of curious on how this will work..
1. How many people can you have in one session? Just 12? 2. How will questing work if there is only 12 people in your game? 3. Will people join a game, it starts and then they log into your server?
Just curious. If anyone could answer I would be very grateful. |

it could be cool to have protoss vs terran map (a bit like horde vs alliance in wow)
but i think 12 is like the requirement to run a dungeon |

| No.. I meant in a starcraft II game, it can only have 12 people at once. I was just wondering (still am) if there is a massive server or something. |

| If I'm correct, it's actually possible to go up to 18 people in a game. I could be wrong though, if someone wants to correct me on that one it'd be appreciated. |

| I'm wondering how it will retain or save the data of what you have completed when you leave the map. |

| Somewhere here on the forum they state that some information will be stored. Just look around here and you'll find what your looking for. |

That's why Ryan made his own IP.
His server saves all the information constantly, and as for the maximum amount of people allowed, it's probably due to his internet and computer being able to do so much at once.
I held a private server myself, and whenever crashes or DC's happen there is nothing to worry about if Ryan is on top of it. Besides usually servers are made to restart, and debug at the same time. Thus problems can be fixed instantly, and also this is why we have beta testing lol. |
