Decided to move this thread :

to this section...

Dear Sir,
I guess the legal system had kick-in... they started bringing down those videos you had... all the best to you.
I've also consulted my superior on the legal issue, and my superior suggest the same idea i had which is receiving a acknowledgment from Blizzard (first).

He also gave me a somewhat similar case to read up and pass judgment - written report- on the case... ( geeze extra homework T.T ).
My superior also told me that things like this is needed to be in "Black and White" aka Hard-copy. <very important>

I guess they could bring you down anytime... just like how your video/idea get a sudden "boost" in popularity in such a short time... ( 2 days to be exact or so ).

On my personal note: Blizzard will not be happy to know if somewhat another gaming industry came to know about this and hire the whole team thus "brought over this game to sell"... it would be very unreal but i can foresee it happening.

all the best

I believe YouTube has a means of counter-DMCA noticing. Basically, if you are in fact in the right of Fair Use, it is a federal crime to file a frivolous copyright notice against you and Activision will have to pay a fine. Something to consider!

I think a lot of people probably get offered jobs due to their work in the modding community - or at least use it to pad out their resumés. I can't really see the point of this comment. It is a MOD and is owned by the company that owns the original program, basically. ;)

Just keep up the good work - and bring it out! Unlike a certain remake of the original Half Life I won't name here! ::)
