this works perfect for something like a missile that fires in a straight line and knocks the enemy back.

If you want like a fraggrenade thingy with an AOE attack, change the action to: unit - move triggering ability target unit instantly to position of triggering ability target unit offset by (- the distance you want to make him blast back) towards position of damage source. Blend

I can't make "them bite the dust" though, but i guess it's possible by adding an extra action that makes the unit change model.
Than you have to create a "bitting the dust" model and make him change back a few seconds later. But that's beyond my abbilities.

Hope this helps a bit.
