Have you guys considered adding a Creative Director? I don't know much about the development of games, however, I could see this role being valuable to your team. A Creative Director (or assistant) is someone who focuses on pitching new ideas, gathering good ideas from the forms, and fleshing them out from a design perspective. Later, once the idea has some body to it, they talk to you to see if it's possible to put into the game.
Having a position like this could alleviate some work for the rest of the team having to think of a lot of ideas while they have more technical work to do. Of course, everyone will have a say as to what is possible or not and can still think of ideas. Just think of this position as the ideas man so you all can focus on the incredibly tough stuff.

A creative director is music to my ears.. but I need someone I click with. Do you have an organizational backround?

Yeah I do have some. Not in the video game business, though. I've served as a dreaded Resident Assistant for two years (I was actually a Resident Mentor - same thing, but dealt only with Freshman in a Freshman only Dormitory - sounds like a nightmare but it's not that bad ) While there, I planned programs and social events- and I mean big ones - I always finish big! From A French Riviera Themed, Lady Luck Casino Night to Retro Videogames Day to the classic Condom Olymipcs (and no, this one did not suck!).
Aside from that, I served on Resident Life and Housing committees in charge of hiring and amending hiring procedures for Resident Assistants. That was pretty boring though, however, there was a lot of organizational work to be done.
I have a background in math too, although I'm not sure how it will come into the job. But it's a plus. I'm not a mathematician, by any means but my degree is in Applied Mathematical Economics - for whatever good that will do me. Not too much in terms of programming or scripting - but some experience does exist.
I'll PM you my email if you want to ask me any more questions. As of right now, I'm just surveying the site, seeing what's been done and in the process of being brainstormed and it seems like there are a lot of good ideas!
